Who we are

The directory is run by [Business name, e.g. Habeeb Olagunju trading as Habeeb Football], [Business postal address]. We are the data controller for the information in it. For anything about your data, email athletiqfg@gmail.com.

What we collect

For players, from the player or, for anyone under 18, their parent or guardian:

• name, date of birth, town and region
• football details: positions, club, level, league, stats, academy history, height, fitness, availability
• clips links, if you add them
• weight, nationality and passports
• contact details: email and phone, and for under-18s the parent or guardian's name, relationship, email and phone
• your consent records and each monthly re-submission

For clubs and scouts: the club's name, type, level and location, and the contact person's name, role, email and phone. We also keep a record of the players a club views, shortlists or asks about.

For everyone: your sign-in email, when you last used the directory, and in-app notifications. We use cookies only to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it

• To run the directory: show players to approved clubs and pass on clubs' trial requests. We rely on your consent, which you give when you submit a profile. For under-18s, a parent or guardian gives it.
• To check that clubs are genuine before they can see anyone, and to keep the directory safe (our legitimate interests).
• To send emails about your account: sign-in links, renewal reminders, and news of clubs asking about you.

Who can see it

Only clubs and scouts that Habeeb has checked and approved can see players. They see football details only. Clubs never see contact details, date of birth, weight, passports or parent and guardian details. This is enforced by the database itself, not just hidden on screen. Players under 18 show to clubs by first name and last initial, with their age rather than their birthday.

Clubs can't contact players through the directory. Every request comes to Habeeb, who decides whether to pass it on. For under-18s he only ever deals with the parent or guardian.

We never sell your information or share it for marketing.

Services we use

These companies process data for us, under contracts that require them to protect it:

• Supabase: stores the directory's data and handles sign-in. The data is held in Ireland (EU).
• Vercel: runs the website, from Dublin.
• Resend: sends the directory's emails. Email addresses and message content pass through its servers, which may be in the United States.

Where data leaves the UK, it is protected by the safeguards UK data protection law requires.

How long we keep it

• A listing shows to clubs until the month's access code runs out, plus 7 days. After that it is hidden until you re-submit with the new code, which is only shared in Habeeb's community.
• If an account isn't used for 12 months, we email a warning. Two weeks later the account is deleted, with everything in it.
• Records of which clubs viewed a profile, and old notifications, are deleted after 12 months.

Your rights

You can see and correct your profile at any time by signing in. Players and parents can delete their account from the dashboard, which removes it straight away. Clubs can email us to close theirs.

You also have the right to a copy of your data, to object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email athletiqfg@gmail.com and we'll reply within a month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113). We'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.
